Title: can black potatoes be green?
Post by: gwynleg on August 22, 2011, 20:08:56
Having just chopped the tops off my blight threatened black heritage potatoes, there were a few lying on the surface. Now if these were other potatoes I would throw away as they would be green/poisonous from being in the light. These  certainly dont appear to have green bits .....
Any experience?

The green is probably masked by the black pigment.
