Title: Apple ID
Post by: shirlton on August 21, 2011, 14:38:23
A fellow plotholer had some eating apples from Evesham and he asked if I knew what the variety was. He said it was a crisp apple with red flesh. I remember seeing something like this in the catalogues but I hoped that someone on here would know

There is some 'red' fleshed apples about..but without any further info it is impossible to say what variety it might be.
The newest one in cataloques is Redlove..but its only been available for few years now..so to be that one, your fellow plotholders tree would be only a youngster and perharps only producing its first or second crop.
There is few older varieties too..but as for now, cannot remember their names without doing some digging.

My Discovery have a bit of a red flush and get redder the later I harvest them.
