I meant to say that this plant is growing in my friends garden in Belgium!

I've sent you a personal message.
Ceres I haven't received a message from you.
Hi gardenqueen,
It's in my outbox dated 20 Aug, 20.47 hrs so not sure why you didn't receive it. You've done what I suggested anyway so it doesn't matter now.
Edited to add:
I sent it as a Personal Message on the forum, not as an email. At the top of the Home Page, you'll see something like:
Hey, gardenquuen, you have 1 message, 1 is new
If you click on 1 message, it will take you to your PM area where you can read and reply to Personal Messages.
Hello Ceri, Nothing in my personal message box either. Now I am intrigued as to what you are going to tell me about the plant ???
i suspect ceres was going to say i's a bad idea to advertise your email address

No.... :-[
Obbelix might... :-\
It looks like it could be one of the pokeweeds. (http://www.guenther-blaich.de/pflseite.php?par=Phytolacca+esculenta&abs=pflgs&fm=pflfamla) I had one grow on a compost heap years ago out of nowhere. The seeds pass through birds undigested so I assumed that was where it came from.
Brilliant! Spot on I think ceres. :)
The web says it's Korean name is "Ja-ri-gong". A perennial that gets pretty big and is frost hard.
Thank you for identifying the plant. My friend will be delighted to know what it is.
As for my e-mail addres, that is being sorted, thank you Cerys.
I agree with the Poke root ID. Iwas given a plant many years ago. I dont have it any more, its very invasive and hallucinogenic.
