Title: jemor shallots

When do these usually come on sale? I see most folk are out of stock?

I'd need to go through my old receipts but I think it's a bit later in the year when I get the shallots. Maybe have a look in your local garden centre or ask when they're getting them in? When they get them in they should also be available online.

General rule of thumb... plant on the shortest day (22 Dec) and start to reap on the longest day (21 June)  mine are sometimes ready by then but not always

They will be available very soon but they aren't cheap anywhere.  Wyevale and other GCs sell the Taylors packs of 8 or 10 (for £3 iirc) or you can buy the online from Unwins/Marshalls and the like but then you have to pay the P&P.  Still, they are good performers and good cookers too.
