good one tulip - I need to know that too. I'm sure I read something about soaking certain types of peas somewhere in one of my books, but can't remember details, or even which book. really must get a better memory! (useless Aqui :-\)

Hmmm, well I personally don't bother soaking anything, not even sweetpeas and normally have no problems at all.

Same as E-J on this one...hasn't made any difference. I've always put my peas straight into the ground, but I guess you'll get an early start. Taste is unbelievably yummy!

Best Luck CL

It's processed peas that you soak overnight :)

Hi Tulip

I don't soak anything, so I'm with EJ on that one.

I think it encourages rot sometimes.

Try growing them in 'rootrainers' which are like deep cell trays.  All peas like a long root run.

Loz Hi

Ive bought a Few Small Propagators also some of those

Rot away pots  about 1.5 inches deep

Maybe its not a Bad idea to put the peas in these when there strong enough straight into the Ground would that be OK.

Again Many thanks for your time and Effort.
