Title: Should my pumpkins have fruit by now?
Post by: sticks on August 11, 2011, 09:32:07
I sowed these two straight into the ground in June.

They seem to have done pretty well but there are no signs of any fruit yet. I've seen plenty of others on my allotment with fruit on, are mine likely to fruit still? Or is it getting a bit late for that to happen now?

try putting a handful of potash around the plant. Hoe it in. then give the plant a good watering.

first you want phosphorus not potash to encourage flowers.
second the plant is to small to start to flower
