Title: WILL IT AFFECT
Post by: rosebud on July 29, 2011, 16:44:45
We have an apple & a pear tree in the garden, if we remove the pear tree will it effect the pollination of the apple.

It may be a silly question sorry but i really do not know. Thank you.

Yes the lady next door has an apple tree.  Thank you for your reply.
It seems the pear tree has worn itself out , it was here when we moved here so i do not know how old it is , but the apple tree is very old but still produces lots  & lots of apples.   Mary ;D

Apples and pears don't cross-pollinate, so it'll have no effect whatsoever.
