I have lost my first tomato plants to blight for this year already.
At least I have had a few tomatoes already.
Luckily the rest of my plants seem fine as they are well away from the infected ones.
Time to get spraying folks me thinks....
Lost mine last year, the pot ones were OK but if it happens again I don't think I will bother again.......just too disappointing :(
Last year was the first year I had a good crop and escaped blight but I know exactly what you mean betula each year I question whether to try again or not.

A few good pictures on here with info.
I think my outdoor toms are getting blight. Is it OK to compost the plants if it turns out they have it. And what about my secateurs that have cut some leaves off, how can I disinfect them?
I would never compost anything with a fungal disease - you can burn the plants and use the ashes!
I think a decent wash in detergent will suffice for the cutters..
