Ours, too , going to be a huge crop this year, I've already started taking some to make puree out of  ;D

Ohh..those look good..isn't it bit early for discovery yet?
I had my first apple today..White Transparent..it was still slightly on sharp side but I ate it.. ;D

I managed half of one today the sunnyside is fine.  We normally expect them beginning August so they a big early.  Between two houses so tends be quite warm.  In the past we have found they get better daily.   But like them fairly sharp, when everyone else thinks they are ready they are too ripe for me.

Never seen so many apples on one tree and I have picked off loads,  Every bunch of flowers produced several fruits.

Mine have never done a June drop amd James Grieve even worse.  The only solution is to pick them off but cannot get up to the ones at the top.  Tree quite large now but does screen our garden from being overlooked.

As you can see from the pic some of the apples are in groups of three. The section in the pic is less than 1% of the tree. 

I just wish they kept better.
