Title: Anyone growing Garlic in Sussex / Hampshire area?
Post by: Outline on July 19, 2011, 18:12:09
I'm working on TV programme for the BBC looking food grown and produced in Britain. I'm really interested in finding out about people who grow garlic (and elephant garlic) at home.

If you live in the Hampshire or Sussex area, you're a garlic lover and grow it at home I'd love to hear from you.  Please get in touch via the email address victoriab@outlineproductions.co.uk.

Thanks!

Victoria

I grow garlic every year in East Sussex and elephant garlic last year and  this year. Had to lift my crop of garlic very early this year as they were getting  white rot, but the elephant garlics are doing very well still.

Almost identical scenario to artichoke, with white rot, not getting to a great size etc and the dry spring.
What is it you are wanting / to know?

Oh, and as the name suggests I'm in E Sussex  :)
