I'm so pleased Tom won ,nice guy,very clever,full of ideas and he was never unpleasant.
I wouldn't watch this programme but the OH likes it and I'm always sad that these folk feel the only way to succeed is by belittling their competitors .How refreshing that 2011 was different. :)

I wonder how he is getting on with Lord Sugar? Maybe some of Tom's niceness will rub off on him!

It was a shame that lots of the other contestants were still 'applying for a job' with 'lordalun' as they missed the plot. He must have known that Tom had good prospects with him because even though he was chosen on his business plan it then reverted back to Tom's original invention. Helen was superb but her plan was weak, I think he wanted to back Tom's idea from the off - that's why he stayed in despite a miserable time in the tasks.
Didn't watch it, cant stand Alan Sugar or Karen Brady, and from the clips I've seen the contestants are generally hideous people spouting corporate technobabble cliches about how brilliant they are. From what I gather a nice guy came first - hurrah!!!
I love Alan Sugar, apparently he just an old softy at home, so there.
