i have a laptop and spilt tea on the keyboardand now some keys wont display when you type myQis would a seperate key board solve the prob
regards Jim
An external keyboard should solve the problem, or if you want to have a go at replacing the laptop keyboard they are only about a tenner, and Toshibas are usually pretty easy to fit. There are loads of instructions/videos online.
You can carefully pop the keys off and spray keyboard with a isopropyl spray - which you can get from maplins. i would try that before trying to replace keyboard.
one more Q will a seperate keyboard work o/k plugged .in to a USB port
this seems the best way out of the prob as i am not a diy person
thanks Jim
yep just plug it in and wait a few seconds..
thanks nick, i have ordered keyboard from play.com cost a fiver.
