Title: I can not uninstall a program
Post by: queenbee on July 16, 2011, 22:13:14
I am trying to uninstall a program called VCL I think it is a flash player and I have no recollection of downloading it, I want to uninstall but it will not let me. When I press uninstall it asks me what language. Also when I click the icon it freezes and I literally have to unplug my computer. Can anyone help with this problem????

VLC Media player is a far superior media player to Windows crap version. It frequently plays stuff WMP falls over in a big heap about.

You shoudl down load all the Codec packs to go with it, they free, and you also get Media Player Classic another alternative to WMP that works better.

If you really want to get rid of it, just delete the contents of folder C:/program files/VideoLAN, that will stop it working.
