I love this little flower, on one plant it had pink, purple, blue & a yellow flower  :)

Will these self seed for next year???

This last plant i inherited from the previous owners, it popped up out of nowhere & thankfully is in a part of the garden i havent tackled yet.

thx 4 ur speedy responce guys, im just wondering if the 1st picture is actually flax.  All the pics ive seen of flax the flowers are completely blue.  These have a white spot on each petal close to the base.  its not to easy to see on the pics, but if you look closely.x.

I think your first picture is a phacelia, maybe p campanularia which grows about 9" high. The flowers are a stunning blue.

Easily solved. What size is the plant? Do the ivy-like leaves in the background belong to it?

I don't think that 2 and 3 look like ivy leaved toadflax, because they're held very upright, whereas ivy leaved etc is trailing and low.

Ok, i see where your coming from with the ivy leaved toadflax, the flowers are the same shape but 90% of the pics ive seen on our old friend google the flowers are lilac not pink.  Also the leaves are not ivy like in the slightest (the ivy like leaves in the background are actually ivy lol) more like really thin strips of grass coming of the stem, I'll get a pic in the morning.  I think its about 8 inchs tall.

This is another inherited plant, i found it behind the big beastie bush that got the chop over the weekend.  It is on what i can only describe as a bamboo type stem, i say stem but stands over 7 foot tall.  Any idea what it is ??? ?

Cheers Guys :)

Bottom one is Himalayan honeysuckle.  I sometimes encounter it as a garden escape
