I was having a general tidy up around the greenhouse and noticed there seemed to be loads of earwigs. Has anyone noticed an increase of them this year. should I be worried about them with regard to the to a tomatoes etc in the greenhouse?

Lots in my potted dahlias but not grown before so don't know if more than normal. Far, far more worrying was that yesterday I took a swig from the straw in my fruit drink, left in shed from day before, and got a mouthful of earwig - Yuck!
We have lots arrived in the guinea pig hutch this year.
Not such a comfy sleep for the cavies. :(
I found at east a dozen earwigs in the tips of each of my expensive new lillies - bought as a present for OH at Chelsea. They've been blasted off with a hose but I'm wondering if a dose of Provado is needed. I was actually checking for lly beetle and not expecting earwigs.
I picked a cabbage at the weekend and found it was full of holes, thought it was slugs but it was full of earwigs, not seen anything like ti since I was a child and found lots in the peg basket. Never liked them since.
Never really suffered when I lived in the midlands but now in Norfolk they are everywhere !!!!
Cut a couple of peppers out today as they looked a little worse for wear and when I chopped it in half there were at least half a dozen earwigs !!!
Is there a bio method of controlling them ?
Haven't seentoo many on the plot, but found a nest and loads in the garden. I dug the nest out and gave it to the chickens and they loved it ;D
Maybe fumigate the greenhouse? A sulphur candle would do it.
You can't do it now can you. I thought the greenhouse had to be empty of all plants
Chickens love them!
