Im Mike I was born in Cardiff South Wales I move with my Wife and Daughter to a Wonderful place Called the Netherlands..Nederlands or Holland.
I came here  Sixteen years ago to give my [our] youngest daughter a good start in life. I feel that we have achieved that here in Holland. I certainly have no regrets neither as my wife.
I have recently decided to return to Gardening as a Hobby
after a long long time. But now I will take it a stage further
I will be only to please to make contact via E mail with anyone interested in Friendship- Penpals.
I must stress that Im very happily married with Four Grow Children and in five months celebrate[ back to Wales]
our Ruby Wedding Anniversary [ 40 years].
My other Hobby is my Motorcycle  Kawasaki ZZR 600 1993
thats a great passion here in Holland. With the Assen TT Circuit close at hand.
Thank you all for giving me the time and space to explain a little about Tulip-23 Mike Hope to hear from anyone interested in setting up a friendship through  Penpals
and Im sure along this road I will have very pleasant contact and ask many questions and ask for lots of your advise.

hi Mike,
good luck with your new plans and garden. i think seeds are the best thing ever! such a miracle each time, something from so little.

i grow both veggies and flowers here, i don't have as much space as i would like, am thinking seriously of attempting an allotment here. i read in the local paper the local council are going to try to recruit more females to allotments in this area! :)

i mainly grow what myself and other half like to eat. i like to try new things each year, and am terrible for getting stuff when i don't have the space!

i have at present seperate areas in the garden for fruit, flowers and veg, plus a greenhouse.
my favourites would be....peas, tomatoes, asparagus, raspberries, strawberries, leeks, onions, broad beans, broccoli and cauliflower, plus i love the unusual varieties you can get now.
melons will be my big challenge this year!
ps.got your pm just fine.

Hi Mike,

Well if you've found this site, you've found gardening friends!
I love growing things from seed....this Spring i have to move house but am going to take examples of all the plants I have grown from seed for this garden.

I have friends in Holland, all over the place.Brabant eh? Did you ever visit the international horse show at Indoor Brabant? It's wonderful even if you are not a 'horsey' person. Fabulous shopping!

All best wishes from the Cotswolds,

Cotswold Lass
