Well done! Mine will be a long while yet.
They look lovely Shirl, what do they taste like?
My son has had ripe outdoor Sungolds and Lidl plum toms (from seeds you gave me) from his allotment in Harpenden. Mine will be ages yet.
They are so nice.Just have to try another one to see if they really are. ::) Tony has had good results from the lidl cherry plum. They do tend to grow a bit lanky though
OOoh lovely! I had a look at mine, outdoors, yesterday. Some are getting small fruit and there are lots of flowers (the Gardener's Delight is almost frightening in the amount of flowers that it has) but I still did not have a little round red thing to take home :( Just have to be patient still. I find that they are quite ahead this year, usually I have no sign of fruit till July. But they give till October so can't complain!!!
They not only look good, they taste good as well. Thanks to Shirl I was privileged to taste one.
My Tumblers are not too far behind. Have lots of little green tomatoes waiting to turn green and plenty of flowers are still popping up. They are first attempt also despite over watering earlier they seem to be doing really well. Good tomatoes for hanging basket.
I grow tumberlings red and yellow, in a sheltered sunny spot they are always nearly first. This year my gardeners delight ( glasshouse grown) were earlier.
