Title: Limp squash
Post by: RenishawPhil on June 14, 2011, 13:37:20
planted some squash the other day and a few are looking a bit limp, give them a good water and a few hours later they seem ok.  Yet the soil is damp etc

Anyone know why this happens.  Had it happen with the sqaush in the greenhouse to(but think thats it being to warm at times)

Even if you are planting out potted squash, it is inevitable that some of the small roots get damaged as you firm them into the soil. It takes some time for the plant to re-establish the necessary root system.
