Title: New plant appeared; bell like flowers?
Post by: Nemesia on June 10, 2011, 17:43:26
A green plant has appeared in my garden. Seem to remember that
it showed it's head for the first time last year. It has unusual flowers
in that they are the same green as the leaves/stems and are bell
shaped. I know this is a bit vague and might be posted in the wrong place
but would anyone know what it might be?

how about Bells of Ireland, Moluccella laevis, if it's a nice plant

or it could be a euphorbia of some sort..a weed or a proper garden sort

Thank you Bugloss but it isn't Bells of Ireland. I grew that plant once and it
was much nicer than the one I am asking about. I think I will dispose of it as it is probably is just a weed.

Or this - Euphorbia helioscopia (sun spurge) a common weed and not as pretty as the cultivated euphorbias
