Just saw a baby deer with its mum first one this year. in the field behind our home nature is wonderful he was running all over the place and only a week or so old peter

Sorry PeterH don't want to put you off but I'm with the BBQ too. Baby Deer are so cue but they are an absolute menace.  They eat your PSB in the winter, strip the strawberries of leaves and generally eat and trample on everything and anything and also lie on things.   Only one PSB plant survived the winter and the deer ate the lot.

my use for deer is getting rid excess plants I don't have space to plant.
you just put the plants outside the fence

hithanks for all your replies they wont put me off .if you want one for the bar-b-q theres plenty of road kill around here and they are much bigger! :'(i personally would rather have beans ;D
