So it's the humble bean sprout which has caused the deaths from a new strain of e-coli? Are we at risk when sprouting our own? Should we stop? Shall I find something else to worry about?!

they say it was sprouted at 38 oC which is rather warm and bacteria friendly
makes a change for the alfalfa brigade to have a food scare for once. Not so much holier than thou
This is an old problem. I won't buy them from stores anymore and always do my own for just this reason..
