I love this plant too and shoyuld have some seeds lurking somewhere. I love lysimachia clethroides too but really dislike the tall yellow flowered forms. I've recently bought some green, gold and bronze ground cover lysimachia but can't remember it's name. It's gorgeous too but I suspect it's going to have yellow flowers and that might be a problem.

Although they are supposed to be perennial I find they never over winter for me so I grow them as biennials.
I don't find them that easy to grow from seed, think they should be. Initially when saving my own seed I didn't realise that the outer case needed to be smashed to release the fine seed. Now I sow loads of seeds and hope for the best this year only two came through, but they are really worth it.
am loving them too. shall be on my next order list too! read that they take upto 4 wks to germinate....do they need any heat at all?
I place seeds under cover on a window cill properator, as you say irridium they can take a long time to germinate so I have to make sure the compost does not dry out before they do - still recon they are well worth it!
do you have seeds spare that you might like to swap with me? i have a fair few perennials that i shall divide in the autumn if you like. let me know if that's poss. if not, where were your seeds from? thanks
does anyone know i can get perennial sweetpea seeds as i havent seen any in the garden centres
