Who's grown this? I planted some a few days ago; am I in time to get a crop?

Hi Robert
I cant remember when I put mine in but its a monster!! It takes over everything. I think the crop came late but I wasnt that keen so wasnt too worried. Given the weather though I would guess it would do well.

I agree, plenty of time to crop and boy can they get triffid like  ;D
They are also pretty hot on self seeding and I've found they pop up for years!

Mine are at the true leaf and tendril stage... you can't put them out while they are in any risk of frost so the start of June is fine. They like cool and damp (ish) rather than hot and dry to make strong growth... in dry years they are less rampant. I'm impressed Jayb... I have only ever had one over winter (self seed) in about 15 years...  :)
