In the paper today they showed the ballot paper and it only had his name on it? surely there must of been some more candidates? ah well so much for democracy :-\

International sport is one thing.
What I can not understand is how any one can support a local football ( or any other type of) team without one player, manager, owner. Or even for the most part any senior member of staff, being a local person.
Total travesty.
I do understand individuals wanting to watch the best sportsment there are, competing against one another. BUT where is the sense in having a
LOCAL TEAM?
Please explain to me because I think a local team should be comprised of local people even if it is Jack Charlton style.
