Apart from bloody Joe Swift I've enjoyed the BBC coverage of the show, some cracking show gardens.
Makes me wonder what I am playing about at when I see the quality of those gardens quite a few of my friends have got good medals this year with their gardens and displays. I had to stay and look after my plants down here while my partner in crime went up to help out on a display. But gold was earned and the new anemone they were launching won flower of the year. (I've a dozen on order). Should be there myself next year if the garden we have been planning the last two years gets accepted. Finding a sponsor for it has been hard, but at last we have a possible one with very deep pockets.
For years now I have saying I would like to go to Chelsea, but never seem to get there..but next year if you go Ace so will I.
Ace that anemone is beautiful, I would love one, is it Hardy's you have ordered it from? :)
Would definitely come to Chelsea to see your garden - are you doing one at Hampton Court?
I have found it on Hardy's website :) :) I thought it looked lovely planted with the small purple geranium :)
I have not been for years, I went a couple of times years ago when it was much cheaper and you could turn up and get a ticket.
Booking ages in advance is a real problem for me.
Wow Ace I do hope your Chelsea garden comes off.
Are you sure you actually need plants? Looking at some of the show gardens on TV they seem to be rather few and far between in some of them. It seems incredible that they manage to built some of them in the time available.
I did like the one with a windpump bringing up water for a vertical wall planting.
