Title: peanuts/monkeynuts?

hi,has anyone grown monkeynuts?can they be grown in our climate?can they be grown in a greenhouse?i would like to try them if its possible any idea where i can get seeds? or am i wasting my time. cheers rick  :-\

I have not done it yet (might try next year)

Try googling for "growing peanuts"

or go to this web page http://home.howstuffworks.com/peanuts1.htm

Needs a long warm season with plenty of water and sandy soil. 

I think you can probably use most raw peanuts.

Give it a go and let us know how you get on.

I just found some germinating peanuts stuffed in a chili pepper plant pot  :D
