Title: backhanded compliment!
Post by: Squash64 on May 27, 2011, 18:22:11
I used to have very short spikey hair but due to my hairdresser-neice emigrating and my inability to be bothered to find another hairdresser, it is almost shoulder-length now.

The other day I was near the pavilion and this old bloke pulled up and told me that I looked "lovely and fluffy" with my hair a bit longer.  Then he looked me up and down and told me that he liked women "with a bit of meat on them".

He must be getting on for 80 at least, but it makes me laugh every time I think about it.

i had something like that recently when a plot neighbour but not quite as old said....I saw you walking down the road in town the other day....I recognised your bottom!!

Not quite sure what to think about that!

Obviously my work at the gym is either paying off...or not ???

Kea - our bottoms (suitably clad in jeans/shorts) are the only things that can be seen when working on the plot ;D ;D

Yes...but I never really worried about my bum before now I find myself studying the mirror.

One guy keeps calling me a "bimbo" 'cos I've gone blonde now!

I keep saying I prefer the term "Blonde bombshell" to no effect.

(I only did it so I can have "Blonde" and "senior" moments)!! ;)

Girls..If man notices your bottom or even bother mentioning your looks..it must be compliment.
They are so straight forward species that if their brain produces a thought and it ends up coming out of mouth..they mean it. It is not easy to extract that sort of results.. ;) ;D
Being 'lovely, fluffy, meaty and having a bottom..even bimbo'..its all good..they've really put some thought to those statements.. ;D :-X

I managed to upset the woman in the chip shop last week. We've not been in for a while (we were never regulars but having lived in the area for nigh on ten years you get recognised!) and she cheerfully says 'you've lost weight since i last saw you'.

Didn't know where to put herself when I pointed out that I was eight months pregnant last time I went in!

At 35 I am relitively young or at least thats what I keep telling me as 40 looms.  Anyway a couple of years ago when I 'still had it'  ;D  an elderly lady on the bus gave me a cheeky smile and told me that if she was younger that she would wip me up.  Made me blush and smile happily at the same time.  Nice to see the old girl full of life and still able to spot a catch lol  ;D ;D

ps.  love the comment about the man likeing a bit of meat on his bone  :)

I love your comment Saddad. Unfortunately for me I think people would think there had been a total eclipse when I bend down ;) ;D ;D ;D.
BTW No one has actually said it.................................. YET.

Most of the comments seem to be from men to women and the men seem to think it's perfectly acceptable to make them.

I am very tempted to reverse the trend with things like "I love a man with a beer-gut" or "Body odour can be really attractive" or "Those stains down the front of your shirt look very interesting"

On second thoughts, I'll resist the temptation. ;)

Now that I am in my 50's I have some fantastic silver highlights in my hair, people pay a fortune to have them put in at the hairdressers and mine are free, my favourite price!

I've had something bit similar happen to me..not that I was pregnant though. I was having bad 'time of the month' and tummy looked like I was at my 9th month.. :o My customer in hairdresses was nearly having a heart attack when she came in.."you never told me that your were expecting! (she announced it loud so all could hear)...now I have to start looking another hairdresser..again..!"  She manage to congratulate me as well..:o ::)...you should have seen her 'crawling' when I corrected her error.. :-X ..but we did laugh about it long afterwards.. ;D ;D
