Title: Father's Day
Post by: Strawberrygirl on May 23, 2011, 10:02:38
As Father's Day is approaching, thought it would be nice to get some ideas to buy OH (from kids) something for him to use at allotment.  I am more the gardener, he does the labour and spends alot of time just adoring his shed and spuds, plus his new homemade compost bin. So would like to get him something that he would give him hours of pleasure - nothing rude of course  ;D   Thanks folks !

Get him a proper potato fork with broader tines so he doesn't spear as many when he digs them up...  :)

Definately going to get one - he planted over 80 spuds (got a bit carried away) so he will be chuffed with that, plus gonna get him a potato cook book as i  think we may have a bumper crop (about the only thing we'll have by the state of my veg !)
