I am up in the North East and i have never been succesfull at growing tomatoes outside but then i am only a few hundred yards from the the sea. Infact i dont know of anyone here that grows them outside.

Hi Spudcounter,

I agree with Davyw1.

I'm near the coast & only grow my toms in g'house - our NE weather is so

unpredictable so better to be safe than sorry

I've grown Moneymaker outside in the NE, at about 200ft above sea level, but never tried Bambino.
