Title: Recycled compost usage
Post by: Digeroo on May 14, 2011, 06:02:58
Can I mulch my parsnips with recycled compost and what about growing carrots in it.

My  beans and courgettes seedlings are looking very bonny in it.

I certainly recycle mine, it all goes into a bin then mixed with sand and soil for my carrot mix and revitalised with fish blood and bone

yep, even as a last resort it can go back on the compost heap as brown filler.

No reasons ever to throw compost away.
