hi.. on eck me and computers.
I don`t know how I am doing this.
On my number tabs there are options for symbols which I choose by tapping the lock key or the up arrow on the left.
The number 2 also has the at sign, it also has options in blue for another at sign, and a set of exclamation marks also in blue.(there is another set of these on the left hand siude of the computer too.
Currently I cannot type the at sign.., this is what I get.
222 if no lock is on. """""" this is by pressing arrow key.So how do I get my at sign. This is one of the blue symbols.
If I go to the right side of the key board to where the question mark is I get the following
éééé without pressing the lock ÉÉÉÉÉ if I press the lock these symbols are shown in blue on the same tab as my slash symbol and my question mark which I can`t access.
It has to be something I am accidently pressing as it is not permanent, it seems to come and go.
It is driving me nuts.
Obviosly those blue symbols must be accesible soemhow and it seems I have done it accidently.

you should have a blue fn key in the bottom left of keyboard try this, oress and hold it while press the key you want.
It sounds like you've got an American keyboard and your operating system thinks it's an English one.
Click on the EN on the bar along the bottom of the screen and change it .
If you don't want to change, the @ symbol should be two keys to the right of L.
222@@@, just came to the post to try your ideas and it is OK again.
See I told you it comes and goes, it is working now, 2 is OK, then if I press the lock key I get @@@ which is what it is supposed to be.
The other button //// my slash is fine, then with the lock key I get ????. Just as it should be.
This is very weird!!
If it goes again I will try what you said.
d**n me I just did it again and it has gone again 222 """
OK, trying the fn button now. 222 """ no, it is just the same as before when it went wrong
