I have put in a request to the All Mighty Power of these things for you.

You will have a heat wave in the next few weeks so that you will feel glad that you made your purchase.

No need to thank me.

QuoteRain, whats rain
Sorry no idea. ;D ;D

We had some forecast this morning but it did not materialise.  Forecast heavy showers for Friday night and Saturday but that has now changed to light showers on Friday and cloudy on Saturday.   Heavy showers forecast for Sat Night but I am not holding my breathe.  Been a lovely sunny day here today not a sign of even a drip of rain.

We had a pissy bit yesterday, I think the wind dried it before it touched the plot.    ???

it's been raining here since about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Nothing dramatic. Just steady soft rain. At first it looked as though it wasn't enough to make any difference but overnight everything seems to have greened up and the ground looks really moist. At long last.

Just seen the forecast, heavy thunderstorms predicted for tonight & tomorrow - guess who's away in the campervan this weekend with lots of folk singing around the camp fire tonight & tomorrow night after the bar shuts.

We haven't had any rain here for weeks and everything is so dry.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that the rain that is due this weekend doesn't miss me out this time.  Everything is so parched in the garden and the water tubs have run dry.

Tonights showers and tomorrow mornings rain has now disappeared from the forecast and is now set to appear Sat night.  Who are they kidding, I will believe it when I see it.   We have not had 95% of the forecast rain in the past few weeks.

There is a huge swatch heading up towards the irish sea, not much use there it is wet enough already.

Swindon has been the same.... any number of times heavy rain five days away becomes light rain or showers three days away becomes the possibility of showers tomorrow becomes a few clouds then bright sunshine again.....

Getting very confused, forecast rain on then off then on then off now on again.  Every time I look at the met office site it changes.  But there is now a big blob of rain heading our way.  I am getting cautiously optimistic.
