Title: another asparagus question
Post by: gwynleg on May 02, 2011, 13:29:27
Ok so I killed most of the asparagus I put in last year....I have cleared the gaps and replanted - have some tiny thin shoots coming through on those. My question is - do I cover them (think you are meant to fill in the trench as they grow) or allow their tips to stick through when adding more soil.

Or if this is all completely wrong - please do tell me!
thanks

I would back fill the trench gradually... keeping the tips visible...  :-X
