Title: Garden shows
Post by: ACE on January 21, 2005, 20:32:08
I shall be working at quite a few shows this coming year and would like a chance to meet and have a cuppa with anybody on this site who goes to these shows.

Recognition could be a problem, so I shall be wearing a badge with the A4A  logo or I might even get a T shirt knocked up on the computor. (if there are no objections).

If there are a few people going perhaps we could all meet at a set time and place. I will work out the details nearer the time.

  Any one up for it?

Hmm, going to have to chat Ava up.  Chelsea is a no-go, May we have our motorbike rally in Wales again but I do fancy the Malvern show.

15th to the 19th june is the best show, Gardeners World at the NEC.  A good down to earth gardeners show, frienldy, easy to get to and real gardeners.

Which motorcycle rally is that EJ? I go to Talgarth by the black mountains in the spring to a Harley rally.

It is a Yammy Thundercat rally in WelshPool. Last year there were 50 odd bikes, not all 'cats', this year I think the number is nearer 70.  Fabulous seeing all those bikes winding down mountain roads.

Gardeners World would be tempting, but Devon in June, Grandad is going to be 80 so big party.

Wow it is snowing so hard here!!!!

Hi Heritage

Will probably go to gardeners world live as it is quite easy for me to get to by train.... Went to Shrewsbury, Tatton and Stockport last year as well.

Dan said something about A4A merchandise, so if that is up and running soon in time for the shows, wear a jacket/coat to cover up if you don't like the look of us!

I shall be answering questions and handing out leaflets at the EX.SIGHT.ABLE garden which I am building to give an idea to people, the problems of being partially blind.
