Never seen it flower ever b4. Do you think its because its been so hot at this time of the year?

Mine, and the rest of the rhubarb round the site (which is probably all the same variety after 170 years of swapping) flowers like mad every summer, come rain or shine.

Yes and they soon seem to sprout another one so you have to keep at it.  Mine seem to have learned very fast and some of the flowers have been hiding under the leaves.

Mine does it every year....just pull the seed heads off and continue to harvest your rhubarb as normal....got some in the fridge now that I cooked last night...going to devour it with some cream os something later...yummy  :P
