Title: Act of God
Post by: Mr Smith on April 20, 2011, 20:08:39
How would an Atheist go if they claimed against their insurance and it was classed as an 'Act of God' and their claim was successful, do you think that they would grab the payout, :)

I thought that an "act of god" means no payout anyway.

I expect an Atheist would be seething.  (well i would)

I suppose a Jehovah's witness would look at the pamphlet they distribute looking for the truth!

Cof E would be looking for someone to forgive.

Anyone else would navel gaze.

Yes.  To an atheist god is just a figment of someone else's imagination, a mental construct,  so I personally wouldn't be concerned if I won a claim based on that but as Bill says "act of god" is used as a reason not to pay out..
