Title: sick bay tree
Post by: macmac on April 18, 2011, 18:57:11
(http://i606.photobucket.com/albums/tt149/macmac-photo/P4180418.jpg)
Our bay tree has got lots of brown leaves,I think perhaps it was the bad weather as several others on the allotments are the same.
Myquestion is should I cut back all the branches with brown leaves? Can I cut it right back, will it sprout again ?
Thankyou  :)

It is too early to cut right back. Wait till midsummer to see if it will sprout and then cut back to the last dead part.

There is another bay tree thread you may like to read that too.  There are lots of crossed fingers about the place.
