In photo there is 2 different forms of the same sort...Grannyjanet managed to 'forage' the darker sort for me from other end of the country..
And variegated form is from France.
I'm soooooo excited about them ;D..not that they look that exciting ::)
I've been wanting 'one' for a while now..since somebody here first mentioned it ::)

YEEAAH!...you got it!... ;D Daubenton kale

That's the name, all I could think of was Babbington Leeks ::)

You already know I'll be after some!
I think we can be called detectives xtrordinair from now on ;D.
Our champion plant hunter is Janet here..she's been keeping telephone busy and propably managed to pile up huge telephone bill with her hunting...and it all started from Robert's video clip..so now me, Janet and Carol Klein, we all have same kale... ;) 'correction;...and Charles Dowding...
That variegated French sort was just happy 'accident'..this nursery's web site had plain greensort on photo and what I got looked totally different ???
But I've read from other sites and growers that there is such a thing as variegated form..so I know I'm not been swindled ;D
Don't forget Charles Dowding. He called me a sleuth ;D.
