Is it okay to sow carrots this year in the same place parsnips grew last year

Not usaully since similar pest attack both and they use the same nutrients

I think that it would be better to rotate your roots together and not have to follow roots with roots.  Parsnips and carrots are in the same family of plants so they will be attacked by the same kind of pests.  I would be very worried about having parsnips in the same ground that carrots came out of.
