Title: Those free tree seedlings some of us sent off for last year

Well, I'm surprised and delighted to say that mine (a Rowan) has made it through the winter and has one little leaf just beginning to open today.   ;D
How is everyone else doing?  (Sorry, for the life of me I can't remember who posted it originally or the name of the company organising the free trees.)

Was it Andrex?  I have two Rowans, both about 18" tall and in full leaf.

I have a rowan about a foot tall, it has very pretty fresh green leaves. It has spent the winter outdoors in a pot - still not sure where to plant it!

Funny how all the replies so far have been about Rowans yet I'm sure there was a choice of three.  I also think it wasn't Andrex who sponsored - might have been 'Velvet'  ???

That was a good publicity 'stunt' from that company then ;D..wasn't it 'soft soft soft' brand?..I'm sure there wasn't any puppies but little boss kid on advert.

I hate it when Georgies right, it was velvet and it was Ani who was the original poster, I left mine in a black buckit and it drown over Winter.   :'(

 :-[I gave mine the dreaded bucket treatment too...I was going plant it 'tomorrow' but tomorrow came and went and somebodydy forgot the little weedy tree ::) :-[  I blame OH.. ;D
