Hi all, I am sitting on my hands trying to resist sowing any squash yet, but thought it was time to plan what to grow this year, and have discovered that I only have 2 varieties of Courgette left :o
I have a normal green courgette, and a round green, but love different colours/shapes to brighten up our plates
I have a couple of packets of seed that have this year as a sow by date, and I won't get around to sowing:
Carrot, Leek, Spring Onion, PSB
but I have lots in my seed box that I can swap, so if you let me know what you're looking for, I'll see if I have it
;D
Hi there
I have got some which I swooped with pigeonseed on this forum a few weeks ago. Some yellow courgettes and some patty pans. PM your details and I'll post some to you. No swop required!
Regards
Big cat
Thankyou, will PM you now ;D
Got plenty of Rugosa friuliana and Tondo di Toscana seed for a letter SAE....

Thankyou, haven't grown anything like Rugosa friuliana before, can't wait to see OH's face, though I'm sure the kids will think it's great ;D

;D It's true we pigeons quite like swooping! ;D
Sounds like you're getting a good selection. I love the rugosa friulana - they're delicous.
I know, I feel quite spoiled now :D
If anyone wants the Carrot, Leek, Spring Onion or PSB for a SAE then PM me
I can offer you three more if you fancy them.
Amatista Grey..Grey green fruits, courgette shape.
Algerian Courgette,pale green with speckles.
Magda.. Cousa type from the Middle East, light apple green colour, more blocky than usual courgette shape.. the best summer squash of the lot in my opinion, used for a recipe of the same name..on the net I would expect may be written as Kousa.
