without stating the blindingly obvious, all priced & purchased at £1

Has anyone used the plants before and have any thoughts on quality ?

Cheers

I have had good results with some poundland plants when I've bought them shortly after they arrive in the shops. I think they go past their best if left on the shelf for too long.

They are okay if bought when they first arrive and are fresh, I have bought the seeds too and they are okay but not of the good quaility that the ones from Premier Seeds direct are. They are okay though as filler seeds. I bought some plants last year which did really well.

Oh my gosh, we've just had a 99p store open where I live and talk about bag a bargain! Can't believe all of those popular brands go for so little when the supermarkets charge so much!  Just go to show, eh?!

The fleece is very thin and I doubled it up, it lasted one year, but my expectations were pretty low anyway!
Gooseberry bushes were great from there, no variety specified, but still going strong... ;D

We have one at the top of our road and its a godsend. Take a look at things like olives and stuffed peppers and rice crackers and snacks as they are a real bargain. We buy nearly all our cleaning products and tootpastes/shampoo/showergels/deodarants and even the 99p mens edts are okay hubby uses them as body sprays. He got a nice compliment from the girls at work the other day who all said he always smells so nice. He tiold them it was from the 99p store as thats all his wife would let him spend! Why do men always show you up? And yes I always wait for my change.
