Do you mean like a swiss hoe? If so the organic gardening catalogue have the heads. I suppose you'd need to buy your own handle and fit it? Anyway they're kind of pricey!!

ooohhh that looks very sexy! not seen a swiss one anywhere before and it looks a lot better than what i had in mind! im thinking its possibly a worthy investment, esp now we have more land to weed with our extra half plot. previously Ive always weeded by hand but that will take too long now
Thanks Gawrc x

We have two of the Wolf "push me pull you" interchangeable heads and two long handles plus one medium and 2 short so we don't have to keep changing heads between cultivator, hoe and rake for various tasks.  It also means OH  can use one PMPY head for cleaning weeds out of the gravel paths in the potager and between rows of veggies while I have one for weeds that do not grow between straight lines in borders - much safer to keep him off those.

I have been thinking about the Wolf "Dutch" hoe with the wavy blade, it has sharpened edges on both front and back. I have a collection of Wolf and Tesco/Wolf tools. Handles? I've lost count, our local dealer often has the tool with a free handle (and at a discount too).
