Title: best place to buy rabbit wire?
Post by: cobnut on March 21, 2011, 19:40:34
I need to get some chicken/rabbit wire but don't know where to get it from.  Our local independent place is about £50+ for 50m of 1m tall.  I've seen some on ebay for about £45 inc postage.  Is this a good price?

Thanks, I've tried those ideas - no joy on freecycle.  Wilkinsons didn't have any and we don't have a local supplier of wire so can't look there.  Think I'll end up going with the ebay one.

I got a roll from a thatcher who had some left over. (No, not Maggie, the nice kind of thatcher)

That price sounds about right. The trouble will be the cost of carriage if you have to have it sent as a 50  metre roll weighs 25 kg.
