Title: Sprouting Broccoli without cold spell
Post by: piglit on January 17, 2005, 17:38:46
Hello you knowledgable people,

I really want to grow some purple sprouting broccoli but I am very impatient.  I see that T&M are offering a variety called bordeaux which doesn't require the cold spell to get it going so I could have edibles this summer.  I just wondered if anyone had spotted similar in any of the other catalogues - I will buy from T&M if I have to but to be honest I would rather stay with a smaller firm...

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,

piglit

Piglit,

The organic catalogue have it - cheaper and more seed

£2.29 for 50 (T&M £2.49 for 30)

Thank you Phil!  :)
Now I just have to try and order ONLY that and not get carried away with millions of other tempting things...

Thanks again,

Just like me ;)-I have never had time for T&M-over priced and over rated.
