I have never understood why they have just one ball.
If they had a few like, they do in tennis it would not take ages retrieving for it.
Surely, these days they can have several.
Odd game.
The age and condition of the ball are important factors in the game and there are specific rules on when the ball can be changed.
They even have boxes of balls that are of differnt ages so when they lose one the umpires can pick a ball of similar condition!
It is an odd game but a great one.
I'd take the English commentators over the indian ones any day - to listen to at least..
Agee about Aggers I see him on occasions when I visit one of our village pubs, actually he is a nice bloke and speaks to one and all in the pub, :)
