Hi Gang,

I have been tempted to grow my own honeybush plants for the front garden has anyone tried to grow this from seed?

Mine was hit very hard this year during the mini ice age we had . I hope it comes back ...but what I will say is that if you know someone with this plant...ask them to give you a piece ,as it grows very easily from cuttings .  It is a beautiful exotic looking plant ,with its crimped  blue green leaves  which smell strangely of  "warm milk at bed time " or to some folk  " freshly shelled peas " .  I,ve not tried growing from seed though .

I though it would be safe with the baby as its not spiky but sort of has that jungle feel :)

I will post a request on freecycle :)
