Title: Chicken manure
Post by: RobinOfTheHood on February 27, 2011, 12:44:07
Has anyone made a liquid feed from it? Was thinking of using some for my lawn.

I have a very lush corner where we raised some chicks last year, the poo obviously did it some good. The rest of it is very poor by comparison and is looking starved.

I have plenty of manure but have never heard of liquidising it, I don't want fresh poo on the lawn so thought I might give it a go.

It's very high in nitrogen but I see no reason why you can't liquidise it...
don't let the misses catch you though!!  ;D

I chuck lumps in with the liquid comfry, and people on our site suspend it (in a  bag with holes in) in water to make liquid manure
