I've been giving her the same one for the last few years, but she has hidden it or thrown it out, so to be nice I blitzed a load of veggies in the vitamix and served her a nice home made vegetable soup with a heart shaped bit of toast..

She loved it and is singing in the kitchen as I type, I shall wait for an hour before the reactions really start. The main ingredients for the soup where jerusalem artichokes ;D

I got in trouble after agreeing with him that we weren't going to bother knowing full well I had a pressie already hidden in the house for him   ;D

We actually managed to get through main course & desert without the baby yelling & carrying on so we counted that as about the best present we could have had at this point in time. Being able to eat with both hands is becoming a novelty!

Oh & you lot are making me feel better about the fact that our 10th anniversary is looming  ;D

we did cards, and hubby got me toffee (his fav not mine  :-\ ) and a candle. Both he admitted were going cheap  :o I made a very nice beef wellington dinner.

We generally celebrate 15 feb as its the anniversary of the day we met. Weve been together 9 years as of yesterday and married 7 this year so only a baby compared to you lot.
this is my second marriage though was married 17 years by the time my decree absolute came through. Would have been, our 25th wedding aniversay this year. I'll be celebrating then for getting shot of him  :o ;D
