Title: Nectar points
Post by: Borlotti on February 14, 2011, 14:33:07
Saw advert on TV and as I am with British Gas for elec and gas went on line.  Didn't work as my computer is playing up, but phoned them (a bit bored today) and they took my details and I got points on my card.  Don't shop much as Sainsburys as Morrisons is nearer but last year did get SOME LOVELY SEEDS from Sainsburys with my points.   ;D ;D

You can use nectar points at argos and homebase but you have to spend 10 pounds.

You can trade them in for Amazon vouchers, and then spend them via the A4A link and get pennies for the site

We recently bought a new kitchen from Homebase and the salesman told us that if we got a Homebase storecard, we could pay for the kitchen and get all of the nectar points.  As we knew we could pay it straight off again we thought, bonus!  Wrong.  What he didn't tell us was how Homebase cap it after a certain amount, so what should have been 16,000 points, became just 3,000! >:(  Hmmm, I wasn't very impressed with that.

Maybe you could have paid in instalments just to get your points, write to them or ring them that is not fair at all.
